Good Morning,
It is hard to believe that we are already approaching the end of the first term. I encourage everyone to check their students' progress on the Plus Portals and to be in touch with us if you have questions or concerns. If you are having difficulty accessing the Portals please reach out to Mrs. Ladue in the counseling office at ladueb@monsonschools.com.
The kids have done a great job reacclimating to the building and our policies and procedures and to show our appreciation we are going to have some fun this Friday afternoon. We are happy to be able to have our senior costume parade and pumpkin decorating contest once again. Please note only our Seniors are allowed to be in costume for the parade, this is a tradition going back many years. No underclassmen are allowed to wear costumes to school. The faculty will also participate in a costume contest to be voted on by the kids. Following the advisory we are going to have a whole school picnic outside on the field behind MHS followed by an afternoon of outdoor activities. It looks like it will be 55 degrees and the rain is going to hold off until later in the afternoon. Students are reminded to dress for the weather and wear comfortable footwear. Mr. Sullivan will be sending out the sign up for the activities.
Thank you again for all of your patience and understanding as we all continue to navigate the challenges of the pandemic. As always, if you have any questions please reach out to us.
Sincerely,
Bill Metzger
